This Privacy Policy explains how Aeromuse, Inc. ("Aeromuse", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our corporate website (the "Site"). This Site is an informational corporate site and does not provide our HUD SONiC product services. For HUD SONiC, a separate privacy policy applies.

Aeromuse, Inc. is a company headquartered in Japan. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and similar laws, Aeromuse, Inc. acts as the data controller for personal data processed via this Site.

2. Scope
This Policy applies only to this corporate website. It does not apply to:
- The HUD SONiC product, app, or SaaS, which is governed by its own privacy policy.
- Third-party websites linked from this Site.
3. Information we collect
We try to keep data collection to a minimum. We may collect:
- Information you provide voluntarily, such as your name, email address, company, and the content of your message when you use our contact form or email us.
- Technical information automatically collected when you visit the Site, including pages viewed, session duration, referrer (entry source), device information (operating system, browser, screen resolution), and approximate geographic location at country / region level derived from IP address. IP addresses are anonymized by Google Analytics by default.
- Performance information collected by Vercel Analytics, such as page load times (Web Vitals: LCP, FID, CLS) and aggregate page views. This data does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
- Cookies and similar technologies, as described in our Cookie Policy.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data (e.g., health, religion, biometrics) through this Site.

5.1 EEA / UK users

- Vercel Inc. (United States) — website hosting and Vercel Analytics;
- Google LLC (United States) — Google Analytics 4;

- Successors in the context of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring.
7. International transfers
Aeromuse is based in Japan and uses service providers located in other countries, including the United States. Specifically, data collected via the Site may be transferred to and processed by Google LLC (GA4) and Vercel Inc. (hosting and analytics) on servers located in the United States.
Where personal data of EEA/UK individuals is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, where applicable) or rely on adequacy decisions where available.
8. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
- Inquiry communications are typically retained for up to 24 months unless a longer period is required.
- Google Analytics 4 data is retained for 14 months (the GA4 default), after which it is automatically deleted by Google.
- Vercel Analytics data is retained in accordance with Vercel's standard retention policies for aggregate, non-identifying performance data.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Withdraw consent (without affecting prior lawful processing);
- Receive your data in a portable format;
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g., your local Data Protection Authority in the EEA/UK, or the Personal Information Protection Commission (PPC) in Japan).
For California residents (CCPA/CPRA), you also have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
